Into cycling?
Cycling as a sport and free time activity has really taken of lately. More and more people have also taken advantage of this eco friendly transportation vehicle for work commuting.
Why is this? Is it due to more exposure in media, or maybe it's because it's getting harder and harder to find a parking spot? Some maybe find the bicycle to be more handy to tackle the rush hour, and others again are surely fed up with the always climbing fuel prices. Anyway, it's not a bad thing we save our planet by using our bikes rather than our cars either. Ok, that's maybe stretching it, but it sure is a nice way to do your little thing for helping the eco system.
Along with this rise in interest for cycling comes cycle specific webshops, magazines and of course blogs! Yepp, that's right. People love to blog about their life and what is most important for them. It's international also. Here is an amateur cyclist calling his blog for mkj.no. The blog is mainly about cycle related stuff, or sykkel as they say in Norwegian where the blogger is from. Apparently this blogger is a member of a local sports club called Rye.
This is just one example. And look at the amount of effort that has gone in to building and maintaining a blog like this. Own facebook page, videos, long stories, photos, own Twitter account and all. Fascinating.
